Suspected IPOB members set mosque ablaze in Enugu


Suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have set a mosque ablaze in Enugu State.
The incident, which occurred at Ogrute, the capital of Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, has thrown the residents into panic.
One of the Muslim faithful, who confirmed the incident, said the attack was carried out early Saturday morning.

Nnamdi Kanu Petitions UN, EU, US, UK, Russia, Israel, Over Military Operation





The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has petitioned the European Union on the ongoing military operation in south east region of Nigeria.
The IPOB leader in the petitioned dated September 14, accused the Nigerian military of intimidation, torture, arrest, abduction and killing of civilian populace in the southeast.

Nigerian Military Declares IPOB As A "Militant Terrorist Organisation"


                                                                   The Nigerian military has declared the pro-Biafra separatist group, IPOB, a “terrorist organisation.”
The military made the declaration in a statement on Friday by the Director of Defence Information, John Enenche.



Clashes between soldiers on a military operation and IPOB members in Abia State have left several people wounded. Although there have been reports of deaths particularly of IPOB members, none has been confirmed.

POLICE CAPTURES ESCAPED SUSPECTED RITUALIST IFEANYI DIKE IN JOS


The Jos Command of the Nigerian Police has captured Ifeanyi Dike, the suspected Ritualist who escaped from Police custody after being arrested for killing an 8 year old girl in Eliozu, Port Harcourt.

According to police sources, Ifeanyi was arrested in a community in Jos on Thursday night by a Divisional Police Officer who recognized him. The Rivers Command says it has sent his men to extradite him to Port Harcourt, so he can face the charges against him.
